Miz Mooz Liam Loafer

Slippers and house shoes had their heyday when our homes became our offices, schools, gyms, restaurants and movie theaters during the pandemic lockdown. And while I love a pair of trusty broken-in Birks, I fear my foot will morph into the shape of them refusing to fit into an enclosed leather shoe. These lovely loafers by Miz Mooz, seem the perfect choice for transitioning back to that dress casual vibe that I’ve missed!

Miz Mooz Liam

The Miz Mooz Liam oxford features soft, forgiving leather uppers which can be difficult to find in a menswear-inspired oxford. A rounded toe provides room for a wider forefoot, although the shoe doesn’t run wide in general (best for a true medium width foot). Two faux leather “laces” adorn the top of the shoe and a side zipper allows for easy on and off.

The footbed, while not removable, is cushioned well and offers moderate arch support. A one-inch stacked heel provides a little lift. Size is true. The Miz Mooz Liam is available in gorgeous leather colors like ochre (mustard yellow), ocean (blackish-blue), purple, red, black and brandy; sizes 6-11 for $149.95 from Nordstrom, Zappos, Amazon and Shoemall.
