0J.Jill Jardin Dress and Seychelles Sandal review

I was invited by J.Jill to choose an item from their spring line to review and believe it or not, I went for something other than shoes! This lovely J.Jill dress came just in time for green season here in central Indiana when all the tree buds are emerging in this exact color.
The Jardin dress is made with a soft blend of viscose rayon and linen, which is the perfect weight for those upper 60 to mid-70 degree spring days. I love its versatility: dress it up with the elegant silver Seychelles Word for Word sandals featured in the photos or keep it casual with crisp white sneakers.
The split neckline, flounced hem, and shirred bell sleeve all work together to create a feminine silhouette that is both stylish and sophisticated. Yes, it can get a little wrinkled–if you like to iron, have at it. I washed my new J.Jill dress on gentle cycle, let it air dry on a hanger and then tossed it in the dryer for 10 minutes with an ice cube! Not perfect, but when you’re in a rush, it’s a quick way to loosen up the wrinkles.
I’m wearing a size medium, but find it runs a tad large (I’m typically a size 10 in dresses). Kudos to J.Jill for offering a spectrum of sizes from XS-4X! If you love the look of the J.Jill Jardin dress but find it’s sold out in your size, here are a few more options:
A quick word on the Seychelles metallic slide sandals I’m wearing–I do love them, but I can only wear them for short intervals because they’re FLAT–no arch support whatsoever. The cross straps cover my bunions up nicely, so that’s a win. My favorite way to wear them is with my favorite pair of cropped kick flare jeans! They run true to size and best fit a slightly narrow to medium width foot. Available in sizes 6-11 for $89 from J.Jill.
