This promotion has ended.
I’m a huge fan of the World of Hyatt Credit Card. In addition to all of the awesome published perks, the card sometimes offers additional exclusive cardmember deals.
These can add even further value for members. For example, over the summer those with Hyatt’s credit card could save 10% on award redemptions, and that promotion just ended.
With summer winding down, Hyatt, Chase, and Visa have just announced their newest promotion.
Save $250 On A Hyatt All-Inclusive Stay
Those who have the World of Hyatt Credit Card can receive a $250 statement credit when they spend $500+ at one of Hyatt’s all-inclusive Ziva or Zilara resorts.
The promotion is valid for stays between November 1, 2019, and March 31, 2020. Registration is required between September 4 and November 30, 2019.
Each cardmember can earn at most one statement credit, and the credit will appear on your Chase account within six to eight weeks of meeting the $500 spending threshold.
Bottom Line
While this new Hyatt promotion won’t be for everyone, being able to save $250 on $500+ worth of spending at a Hyatt all-inclusive could be a great deal. This could be useful even if you’re booking a points stay, as you could get that statement credit based on incidental purchases.
has been over 8 weeks and have yet to receive the credit. WIll call them tomorrow.
Does anyone have DP for this offer? Will booking excursions/tours directly though Hyatt Ziva/Zilara trigger it? I've contact Chase WOH customer service and they stated it would, but would like some real DP from people. Thanks in advance.
I have a three night stay coming up at Zilara Cancun...points the first night and cash the second two nights. Question is, I check out on 11/2, so technically one night stay is before the promo starts, but I check out after the promo begins. Will both nights go toward the $500, or just the one night from 11/1-11/2?
I wonder if I can book cash for a upper scale room for one night and points for 3 nights. Would they let me keep to upper scale room for the whole stay based on my status?
Received the offer yesterday as well. I have 6 nights booked on points at the new Zilara in the Dominican Republic for late January (scheduled to open November 1). This could be a reasonable way to upgrade the room, use the spa, etc.
HZPV is trash. Might as well get rid of the Z if you catch my drift. Food will be good if you celebrate your birthday at Applebee’s or Chili’s.
Cancun’s Zilara is a formal Royal and the place to be. Looking to book for either first or last night of Riviera Maya stay, to essentially get a gorgeous oceanfront room and food/drinks for $250 after statement credit.
While the credit could be used...

While the credit could be used for incidentals on a points stat, this has limited use at an AI. Spa prices are sky-high and paying for premium wines at 4x retail is a tad silly to me when top-shelf liquor is included. Maybe for a cabana...
I have stayed at the Ziva in Puerta Vallarta, and loved it as a relaxing all-inclusive. Great dining options. Not a lot of water-sport activities compared to some places but that’s not a focus for me. Easy to get to, AA out of Dallas.
My wife and I both got they offer however I found mine in my spam folder so if you haven't received one you might want to check there
Most important benefit is 2 elite nights for every 5k in spend.......it is the big spender short cut to Globalist! And we all know Dad loves Globalist at the Paris Vendome!
Any idea if this is targeted? I already have the WOH card, and my wife drops below 5 / 24 later this month. I am thinking I could get a referral bonus for her, and then book a few nights on my card and a few nights on her new card. If we could both get the $250 statement credit, there would be some real value there considering we would also be earning points for the stay and working towards the initial 50,000 spending bonus on her card.
Los Cabos & the two-Cancun properties are exceptional. Avoid Rose Hall Jamaica...It has become terrible.
speaking of registration, I did receive the email offer but not rest of my extended family (Dad or wife).
I notice that the registration asks for Hyatt number. I guess that's for the validating for the offer qualification not to actually tie the reservation to the $500 charge on the card?
I am thinking if my wife and dad's card got the offer too, may be I can split the $1500 charge into 3x$500s.
@Jeff...
yeah, Ziva means all inclusive family resort and Zilara means "adult only" part of inclusive resort typically right next to Ziva with same name.
Personally I have stayed at Ziva Cancun Mexico and loved there. It's one of top rated resorts at Cancun... in fact it was in top 5 according to trip adviser when I went there couple of years ago and loved our stay. Can't speak for others but I suggest you pick the destination first then look at the reviews online.
You know those "stay at 5 brands, receive a cat 1-4 award night"? I got the first one pretty easy.
Regarding earning a second award night, I could never find an opportunity to stay at those "Z" brands. I've never seen one. I've always wondered where those even were. I've never seen them in North America, Europe, or Asia. I just finally looked it up. There's just eight of them located in vacation destinations...

This makes sense. I'm don't travel to resorts much.
Are there of the Ziva or Zilara properties you would personally recommend?
