Delta Air Lines sure is on a roll lately when it comes to opening Sky Clubs. In the past several months, the airline has opened new Sky Clubs in Kansas City (MCI), Minneapolis (MSP), and New York (JFK). You can now add Boston (BOS) to the list.

Delta Sky Club Boston Terminal E now open
Delta has formally opened its new Sky Club in Terminal E, which is intended for international passengers. This marks the carrier’s third lounge at the airport, complementing the two Sky Clubs in Terminal A.
The new Sky Club is nearly 21,000 square feet, with seating for 400 guests. The lounge features views of Boston Harbor and the city’s skyline. The Sky Club takes inspiration from the harbor itself, incorporating colors and textures reminiscent of Boston’s nautical history, “giving customers the feel of being onboard a classic sailing vessel.”
The new Sky Club features two new full beverage bars, one premium bar, five shower suites, two family rooms, and six soundproof booths for quiet work. In terms of food, the lounge has the typical Sky Club fare, plus regional specialties, like New England clam chowder, lobster rolls, and Boston-based Necco candy wafers
The new Delta Sky Club is open daily from 1:30PM until 10:45PM (until 10:15PM on Wednesdays).

Why this Sky Club addition is so valuable
Delta has a large presence in Boston, and the airline is primarily based out of Terminal A. However, at Boston Airport, Terminal E is the international terminal.
Historically, Delta international flights arrived at Terminal E, and then planes were towed over to Terminal A, so that passengers could board there for departing international flights. Within the past year, the airline moved its international departures to Terminal E, since it allows aircraft to be turned more efficiently, and also gives the airline more capacity in Terminal A.
The issue is that Delta hasn’t had a Sky Club in Terminal E. This meant passengers could either use the Sky Club in Terminal A (if connecting) and then head over to Terminal E shortly before departure, or they could use the Air France Lounge Terminal E, which is not great.
It’s fantastic for passengers that there’s now a Sky Club in Terminal E, since it’ll be a much more convenient and high quality lounge situation than before. This Sky Club is possible thanks to an expansion of Terminal E, which has just opened, adding a few gates.
Delta has a very nice international presence in Boston, and this summer is operating 10 nonstop international routes from the airport, including to Amsterdam, Athens, Cancun, Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London Heathrow, Paris, Rome, and Tel Aviv.
Also keep in mind that if you’re flying on a SkyTeam partner airline, you can use the Delta Sky Club. For example, if flying Air France or KLM business class, I’d much rather use the Sky Club than the Air France Lounge.
Bottom line
A new Delta Sky Club has just opened at Boston Airport Terminal E, which is the airport’s international terminal. Delta hasn’t had a Sky Club in the terminal, so this is a very nice addition. The lounge looks beautiful, and this will be ideal for anyone departing on an international SkyTeam flight from the terminal.

I am so excited that Boston is finally getting lounge attention with this and the new Sapphire Lounge. Just a couple of days ago, DL announced that BOS will be the third airport to get a Delta One lounge as well (also located in Terminal E)

Would be nice if B6 would add lounges to its key cities (BOS, LGA, FLL, & especially JFK). This would complement its Euro footprint and tie in with Euro carriers. Should it get Spirit, lounges in LAX & LAS would be appreciated as well as ORD.
It needs to raise its status to the next level.
Nicer than anything AA has in Philly. They don’t even give drink chits to those in paid business. Lol. Sigh.

It’s hard for me to get excited about any new lounges anymore knowing I either have to pay a fee for a guest (Amex lounge ) or make a huge line to get in ( delta lounges ). The idea of lounges being a perk for credit card holders is fading fast IMHO

Isn't there a virgin clubhouse in that terminal? Meaning virgin flyers can use the Skyclub and vice versa.

Except this one has windows on both sides, and Terminal E extension also looks great from the outside. Logan Airport is not bad, if only it had real public transportation and not the dumpster fire that is MBTA.

It looks nice but how does delta now handle connections from domestic flights to international at Boston? They sell quite a few connections from domestic to all those international flights at Boston which is great. But terminals E and A are not connected behind security, so are they making connecting passengers go through security again? Sounds extremely inconvenient.
There is an airside A-to-E shuttle for connecting passengers. Leaves from near gate A11.
There is an airside shuttle, so it is no different than United doing what they do in Newark.
