I had soles crumble, even though the tops were pristine; however, this happened with shoes I had had for years and did not wear regularly. I thought they would last, but, alas, over time, the soles went to pieces on the closet shelf. I wonder if your crumbling sole issue might be related to shoes being sold that are “old soles” from old stock, but look new, like mine did.

I have RA and I love the Belle Brielle sandals! I have them in red and light brown and will probably add a third color. They are so comfortable to my achey feet and have enough arch support also. This grandma that now walks parks, zoos and the neighborhood with her young granddaughter say “Hurray for comfy shoes!”
